YouTube extends video time limit!
Youtube now allows videos up to 15 minutes.
Youtube has now increased the maximum for the length of videos that can be submitted to the site. The limit is increased from 10 to 15 minutes. This is said to have been the most requested changes by users who have sent their wishes to the popular video site.
When YouTube was launched in 2005, it was possible to upload videos that were longer than 10 minutes, and then it was not unusual that it appeared long videos, the videos were copyright protected.
Youtube now encourages users to submit 15-minute videos with a personal message, and it will then be selected individual videos that will get extra attention on the front page of youtube.com. Videos tagged with “yt15minutes” is included in this award, and the deadline for submission is set for Wednesday 4 August.
